Lou Wang-Holborn is a Beijing-born Brooklyn-based independent producer working in narrative, documentary, commercial and branded content. She was the Associate and Post Producer for the feature film BLUE SUN PALACE, premiering at Semaine de la Critique, Cannes 2024, winning the French Touch Jury Award. Most recently she was the production supervisor on LUCKY LU, premiering at Cannes 2025 Directors’ Fortnight. Currently, her feature documentary CHINATOWN CHA-CHA is on the festival circuit, and she is working on the feature documentary IRIS CHANG: POWER OF ONE (working title), a co-production of Kartemquin Films. Lou’s work has been supported by The Gotham, Center for Asian American Media, BRIC, CNEX, Doc Edge, Kartemquin Films, Hot Docs and the NYC Women’s Fund. Lou is also a Mandarin-English translator and interpreter. She has translated several scripts and subtitles for fictional films and documentaries. 

She holds a Master of International Affairs from The New School. She is also the founding member of Chinatown Mural Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing large scale murals to the New York Chinatown area and beyond.  Lou spends her free time training Kung Fu with her husband and son.
